Shocking.....

If you support one thing this year or donate to any cause, please let it be Childhood cancer research. 46 Children are diagnosed everyday in the US, 7 die, there has not been a new med to treat in over 20 years!!! We need funding for research, did you know only 4% of the American Cancer society funding goes towards research for Childhood cancers!

Thank You!

The McKay family was approved for Medicaid which will cover Ashlyn's Medical Bills! YAY!!! This was such a blessing especially once they received the first bill totaling over $50,000.00! They have asked to close all donations, and send their deepest appreciation to all who have helped them along this journey. I will continue to update you on Ashlyn's fight as I get details.

Baby Ashlyn goes in for her 4th round of Chemo this Tuesday, after this cycle (each cycle is about 21 days) She will under go an extensive scan that will tell the exact progress the chemo is making. Where the cancer still is... They are anxiously awaiting this test...

Again they and I thank you for your continued support, they appreciate the prayers, kind words and Love they have felt from so many of you...

a note from Paula

Ashlyn is not having a good night, her sodium levels have dropped and she has been throwing up and gagging all night, not to mention she skin is not taking to well to the chemo :( I really hate this part it tears me apart to see her so sick, these are the nights I feel like I just can't do this anymore, it is such an awful feeling to know there is nothing you can do to make it better, I can't do this :(

its been a while!

Ashlyn had a CT scan this week to check the tumor and it is not growing but not shrinking either... So that's great news!

Baby Ashlyn was able to come home to McGill for Christmas! YAY!! The family is so excited to be together again! It has been a while since they were all home together. They will have to head back on the 26 for Ashlyn to be admitted to the hospital to undergo her next round of Chemo.

The other Kids, Aubrey, Adalie, Ayla, and Adler, were bouncing off the walls this evening you can tell they have missed their mommy!

I got to visit them for a minute this evening and Paula is Radiant! She truly has our Lord and his angels with her at this time of heartache and trial!

And Baby Ashlyn is such a precious little Angel she has the most love and peace in her eyes.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have to know them personally and to get to update others on the progress and story along the way....

As always thank you for your love, prayers and support!
